Golden Corral Cooks Up 5th SoCal Location

Golden Corral signed a nearly 13,000-square-foot lease at Vineyard Freeway Center in Ontario, CA. Construction on the restaurant’s fifth SoCal location is slated to begin in April 2017, with the more than 400-seat buffet and grill projected to open in late 2017.

Progressive Real Estate Partners’ Paul Su marketed the property, and exclusively represented both tenant and landlord.

The 163,000-square-foot retail center is also home to a variety of shops, services and restaurants, including RadioShack and Domino’s Pizza. In addition to the build-out of the Golden Corral space, 60,000 square-feet of the property will be renovated with enhanced facades, a new color scheme and parking lot improvements.

Located at 1640 E. 4th St., the Kmart-anchored property is visible to 237,000 daily motorists passing by on Interstate 10.
