Global One Investments, an affiliate of Nelson Management Group, has promoted Saad Saghir to head of acquisitions. In his new role, Saghir will oversee the acquisition and asset management activities of Global One.  

Saghir’s responsibilities will include sourcing, underwriting, and closing new investment opportunities, as well as implementing asset management strategies for the existing portfolio. “Displacement in the market tends to favor investment managers who are operationally intensive and have a niche investment focus like us, so we have been building out our infrastructure to capitalize on these opportunities across the capital stack,” said Saghir. 

With nearly six years of experience at Global One, Saghir has contributed to the firm’s growth in the affordable housing and workforce housing sectors. Prior to joining Global One, Saghir held various real estate investment roles, including at Macquarie Capital, where he focused on providing services to real estate clients.
