Global Mutual Claims 430K-SF Durham Office Portfolio

UK-based investment company Global Mutual has acquired Research Commons, a five-property, 429,758-square-foot office portfolio in the Raleigh-Durham metro. The sales price was undisclosed.

Located at 79 TW Alexander Dr., the nearly 60-acre portfolio is located within Research Triangle Park, which includes more than 22.5 million square feet of built-out space. Research Commons is currently 95.8% leased to 16 tenants.

Ryan Clutter, Scot Humphrey, Chris Lingerfelt and Zack Drozda of JLL represented the seller, Greenfield Partners, in the transaction. Additionally, JLL secured a five-year, floating-rate acquisition loan on behalf of Global Mutual through lender BBVA USA.
