Glendale OK’s $600M Business Park
The Glendale City Council has given Suburban Land Reserve their blessing to build a 4.4 million square foot, $600 million industrial park. The Parkway 303 East will feature four industrial buildings of 1.1 million square feet each on 276-acres.
The Loop 303 corridor is considered a major transportation corridor for warehouse, distribution, e-commerce and manufacturing uses. It’s aided by the fact that it’s near the existing AT & SF rail line and Luke Air Force Base. At full build-out, Parkway 303 East will comprise four facilities with 55 feet in height. The development will have approximately 37 percent of lot coverage and feature a total of 2,868 vehicle parking spaces and 957 truck and trailer stalls.
The location, until recently large swaths of farmland, has become a burgeoning industrial center. It’s down the street from the Woolf Logistics Center, which includes a 722,000-square-foot canning facility, a joint venture between Rauch Fruit Juices, Red Bull and Ball Corp., and a 916,000-square-foot Mark Anthony Brewing facility.
