GID Signs Luxury Wine Store to Waterline Square

Somm Cellars Wine & Spirits, a luxury wine store concept from renowned sommeliers Jason Jacobeit and Daniel Jung, has signed a retail lease at GID Development Group’s Waterline Square on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The upscale store will span nearly 1,300 square feet, adding to the three-building development’s hospitality landscape. Already signed are the world’s first large-format culinary experience by Cipriani, and the first Uptown location of celebrated Mexican restaurant Empellón.

“We are committed to the future of Waterline Square and to providing a well-rounded lifestyle for our residents and the neighborhood at large,” said James Linsley, president of GID Development Group. “With the addition of Somm Cellars Wine & Spirits to Waterline Square, we continue our goal of creating an unprecedented, comprehensive hospitality offering for our community.”

NKF’s Mitch Friedel, Janey Steinmetz and Ryan Tucker represented GID in the transaction.
