GID Readies for Regent Square, Phase II
GID Development Group commenced retail leasing of the second phase of its mixed-use Regent Square development in Houston’s River Oaks/Montrose submarkets. This phase will be built on eight acres at West Dallas and Dunlavy Streets, and will include a 600-unit multifamily development, and 50,000 square feet of street retail. The retail component will ring a central plaza, consisting of green space, a water feature and pedestrian promenade.
The apartment floor plans will range from studios to two-bedroom units. The project will also include 60,000 square feet of exterior and 16,000 square feet of interior amenity space.
CBT is the mixed-use development’s architect, and OJB Landscape Architecture designed the central plaza. JLL will oversee retail leasing for the property. Regent Square’s first phase and eastern anchor is The Sovereign at Regent Square, a 21-story residential tower, completed in 2015.
