Giant Amenity Space for Plaza District Tower
George Comfort & Sons will start construction immediately on a 10,000-square-foot amenity space for the tenants at 575 Lexington Ave., its office tower in Midtown Manhattan.
“We are excited about the improvements ownership has undertaken at 575 Lexington and know they will appeal to companies from a wide range of industries,” said David Falk, president of the TriState region for Newmark Knight Frank, leasing agent for the building.
Designed by MKDA with exposed ceilings and columns, the space will include an outdoor terrace, lounge and recreation area with billiards, ping pong tables and bleacher seating, in addition to a suite of conference rooms with a breakout area.
A joint venture comprised of Angelo Gordon & Co., Normandy Real Estate Partners, and George Comfort & Sons, acquired the 745,000-square-foot tower in Sept. 2015.
