GI Partners continues its strategy of acquiring and managing tech and science real estate, purchasing a portfolio of three life sciences lab buildings in South San Francisco and San Carlos, CA. The company purchased the “Peninsula Lab Collection” from Alexandria Real Estate for a combined total of $388 million.
“The Peninsula Lab Collection offers a rare, scalable life sciences acquisition opportunity in two of the most attractive Bay Area submarkets. We are thrilled to invest in a portfolio that provides stable, in-place yield with a diversified mix of emerging and established tenants,” said GI Partners Principal John Curran in a news release.
The three Class-A buildings are located at 7000 Shoreline Court (pictured) and 341 Oyster Point Boulevard in South San Francisco and 75 Shoreway Road in San Carlos. The properties are currently 100% leased and provide tenants with modern and flexible lab infrastructure.
