GH Palmer Affiliate Snags 22-Acre Site Entitled for Nearly 1,000 New Units

Palmer Mission Gorge Properties LP, an affiliate of Beverly Hills, CA-based GH Palmer Associates, acquired 22.69 acres in San Diego’s Mission Gorge. Located at 6910 Mission Gorge Rd., the four parcels are collectively entitled for development of 996 new residential units.

Entitlements also call for 37,500 square feet of commercial/office/retail space, and open space with roughly 5.30 acres of neighborhood parks.

GH Palmer Associates’ Steven G. Fink says, “We’ve long awaited the right opportunity to develop in San Diego. This Mission Valley acquisition gives us the opportunity to bring resort-style living to the community, making every day at home feel like a vacation.”

The sellers, two private families, were co-advised by Cushman & Wakefield’s Kevin Nolen, Tim Winslow and Jason Kimmel, together with Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty’s Mark Marquez.

Nolen says, “This was an extremely complicated transaction. The property received entitlements in 2012, but had been making slow progress to perfect those entitlements and permit.”
