GFP Signs Two Office Tenants at Midtown’s Film Center

GFP Real Estate, LLC has signed two leases at 630 Ninth Ave., also known as The Film Center Building, totaling 6,721 square feet. Matthew Mandell of GFP represented ownership in-house in both deals.

In the first transaction, Encore Community Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing supportive services to older adults in the Clinton/Times Square/Midtown communities, signed a new six-year lease for 5,521 square feet. Nicola Heryet of Avison Young represented the tenant. Encore Community Services relocated from 220 West 49th St.

In the second transaction, engineering consultancy M. Chetrit Consulting Engineers, PC, signed a long-term lease extension for its 1,200-square-foot office. The company first moved into the building in 2015. Mandell represented M. Chetrit in the lease extension.
