GFP Secures Quartet of Leases at 80 Eighth Ave.

GFP Real Estate recently secured four lease transactions totaling 8,910 square feet at 80 Eighth Ave in Chelsea. The firm’s Matthew Mandell represented ownership in the following leases: 

  • Longtime tenant Whitman Insight Strategies signed a 10-year lease extension for 3,542 retail square feet, represented by Jeffrey Nissani of JSN Properties. 
  • Center for an Urban Future signed a seven-year lease, 2491-square-foot lease, represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Debra Wollens.  
  • Psychiatrist Justin C James D.O signed a three-year lease extension for 2,057 square feet, represented by Mandell and GFP’s Sam Mohabir.  
  • Rockline Corp., a construction and remodeling company, signed a three-year lease for 820 retail square feet, represented by Brickhouse Group LLC’s Katarina Sundqvist. 

“We are starting to see office leasing activity surging in Manhattan as more and more as companies—and their workers—begin returning to the office,” said Mandell.
