Get it There Fast: FedEx Office Coming to Walmart

FedEx Office, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp., has struck a deal with Walmart Inc. to place 500 new locations within select Walmart stores in the next 24 months. Plano, TX-based FedEx Office pushed ahead with the roll-out, following completion of a successful pilot program encompassing 47 locations within Walmart stores across six states.

The roll-out is part of the nationwide expansion of the FedEx retail channel, a network of retail locations offering FedEx services.

Walmart-based locations offer packing, shipping and printing services inside the stores. Customers can also direct their packages to be held at any Walmart-based FedEx Office location for up to five business days, either directly or by redirecting using FedEx Delivery Manager.
