German Investor Buys Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago Hotel
The Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago sold for $110 million to German investor Deka Immobilien. The 257-room, full-service hotel in the Central Loop area of Chicago was sold by an affiliate of Murphy Development Group.
Developed in 2015 by the seller, the 22-story Art Deco Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago features a seasonal rooftop bar with panoramic city views, a restaurant and bakery, a cafe, 24-hour fitness center, 2,500 square feet of event space, business center and pet-friendly accommodations. Situated at 100 West Monroe Street, the hotel is centrally located in Chicago’s Loop, in the heart of the financial district and within walking distance to transportation, restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
HFF marketed the property on behalf of the seller, including Jaime Fink, Jeffrey Bramson, Jeff Bucaro and Nicole Aguiar.
