Gerald Casimir Joins CushWake in Asset Management Leadership

Cushman & Wakefield hired industry veteran Gerald Casimir as a director and member of the leadership team for the asset management business. He was most recently managing director for a $30-billion fund at TIAA Real Estate, his employer of 15 years.

“Gerry’s depth of expertise and ability to cultivate strong professional relationships have solidified him as a dynamic leader within the commercial real estate industry, recognized by both his peers and clients,” said Toby Dodd, president of the Tri-State region at Cushman & Wakefield. “The current unprecedented situation has given us the opportunity to reflect on what’s next for commercial real estate and bringing talent like Gerry on board shows we will continue to adapt, improve and do what is needed for clients.”

Casimir brings financial, operational management, negotiation, leadership and managerial skills in portfolio management, asset management, and acquisitions and dispositions to his new role, Cushman & Wakefield said.
