Georgetown Co. Snags Metro Atlanta Retail Portfolio for $43M
Developer and owner Georgetown Co. has acquired two supermarket-anchored shopping centers in the Atlanta suburbs for $43 million.
The properties included Coleman Village in Roswell and Village Walk in Alpharetta. Anchored by supermarket chain Kroger, Coleman Village is situated on more than 12 acres at 800 Marietta Highway in Roswell. Village Walk is a fully-leased, 84,309-square-foot property on nearly 12 acres. The retail center is anchored by Publix and is home to tenants WellStar, Papa John’s and Circle K.
A team from JLL represented the seller of Coleman Village, Principal Global Investors. In addition, a CBRE National Retail Partners team represented the seller of Village Walk, PGIM Inc. Georgetown Co. is currently identifying additional retail center investment opportunities in several markets in the Southeast, including Raleigh, Charlotte, Nashville, Greenville, Charleston, Tampa, Jacksonville and Miami.
