George Smith’s Gary Mozer & Team Jump to IPA

Gary Mozer’s 38-year-run at George Smith Partners has come to an end as the commercial real estate veteran is headed to Marcus & Millichap’s IPA division at the firm’s new office in Century City, CA. Mozer’s team of Lee Norman, Tommy Adelson and Broderick “Brody” Flagg will be joining Mozer next week.

Mozer’s career at George Smith included a stint as CEO and his most recent role as managing director and principal in the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters. Mozer will be an executive managing director at IPA, reporting to EVP Evan Denner and continuing to lead his former George Smith team. Norman will join IPA as a senior managing director, Adelson will be a director and Flagg’s role will be a senior analyst. Mozer’s executive assistant, Jelena Andreeva has also been hired by IPA.

“The bigger operation allows greater access to data and more regional relationships across the country,” said Mozer. “That’s an incredible value-add to me.”
