George Smith Partners Adds Managing Director, Associate to NYC Office

George Smith Partners (GSP), a leading commercial real estate capital markets advisor, has added Justin Piasecki as managing director and Thomas Butler as Associate to their New York office as a part of their ongoing expansion. Piasecki was managing partner at Lev and brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to GSP.

Piasecki will be joining the advisory team focusing on arranging debt and equity for commercial real estate properties nationwide. Butler will be supporting Piasecki and the GSP advisory team.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Justin and his team to our platform at GSP,” said Jonathan Lee, president of GSP. “When we discussed expanding the New York office and expansion throughout the East Coast with him, we were especially impressed not just with his depth of knowledge on the capital markets side, but also with his understanding of technology and how it enhances an advisor.

“Because of his background at both Avison Young and Lev, he fundamentally understood how his clients would benefit with GSP. It is exciting to be adding trusted advisors who understand the vision we have for our firm and the clients we serve.”
