George Jones Building Transforming into Entertainment District

The Cordish Companies has announced plans to transform the historic George Jones Building in downtown Nashville into a premier 50,000-square-foot, multi-level dining and entertainment experience called Nashville Live!.

Throughout the country, Cordish has created and managed an extraordinary portfolio of upscale mixed-use, entertainment and casino resort projects, earning seven Urban Land Institute Awards for Excellence for urban revitalization efforts.

Slated to open in phases later this year, Nashville Live! will create a multi-experience destination for Nashville’s downtown and act as a catalyst in spurring additional investment on 2nd Avenue following the tragic bombing in 2020.

Plans for the revitalized building include bringing best-in-class brands to Nashville for the first time. Spanning vertically across five levels, Nashville Live! will feature a different concept on each floor including DraftKings Sports & Social, PBR Cowboy Bar, AVA Rooftop Bar, a 10,000-square-foot private event space, and an exclusive speakeasy bar.
