Gensler Expands in DTLA, Builds Bridge at City National Plaza
Gensler is expanding its footprint in DTLA by taking two floors at City National Plaza’s north tower at the 2.5-million-square-foot property. To achieve the collaborative work environment, the architecture firm is creating an open space for nearly 600 people and plans to build a bridge connecting the north tower space with its existing four-story jewel box building on the plaza.
Gensler is calling the space in the 515 S. Flower tower the “family room.” It will include meeting rooms, wellness rooms, window booths, a coffee bar, and kitchen, as well as open gathering space for project presentations or networking events.
Work at the at the CommonWealth Partners owned property is slated to start in August and be completed in early 2017.
