Genesis Prize Renews at The Bertelsmann Building

The Genesis Prize has signed a new lease for 3,000 square feet of office space at 1540 Broadway, the 44-story tower also known as The Bertelsmann Building, in Midtown Manhattan.

“The Genesis Prize was previously sharing office space at the property with affiliated entities. After looking at several buildings in the area, the ideal space in the tower of 1540 Broadway became available and The Genesis Prize decided to remain at the property,” said Marc Schoen of The Schoen Group and managing director at Savitt Partners, which represented the tenant. CBRE represented Vornado Realty Trust, the landlord.

The asking rent at 1540 Broadway was $90 per-square-foot.
