General Land Office Marketing 24K-Acre East Mile High Ranch

The General Land Office (GLO) of the State of Texas is shopping around East Mile High Ranch, a 23,500-acre ranch in the Far West Texas town of Sierra Blanca. The ranch fronts FM 1111 and is north of Interstate 10, approximately one hour east of El Paso. Eric DeJernett with CBRE and Alton Setliff with Southwest Commercial are marketing the property on behalf of the GLO.

Also on the property is a 6,000-foot by 75-foot runway for fly in-and-out access, a small hangar with room for two small aircraft, and an interior air-conditioned office. DeJernett noted that the property offers the opportunity to acquire a large, contiguous ranch with its own private FAA-rated airfield. It could be ideal for a very large secluded ranch, or ideal for “a buyer looking to develop a cluster of several large ranches that might share amenities, such as the airstrip,” he added.
