General Contractor Selected for 500-Key Omni PGA Frisco Resort

Omni Hotels & Resorts selected Brasfield & Gorrie as general contractor for the Omni PGA Frisco Resort in Frisco, TX. The 500-room development will be situated in the 600-acre, $250-million project to be anchored by the PGA of America headquarters. In addition to the hotel, the project will include retail space, golf villas, a clubhouse and outdoor amenities.

The Omni PGA Frisco Resort will be adjacent to golf courses designed by architects Gil Hanse and Beau Willing. The courses are scheduled to open in time for the 2022 season, while the resort, convention center and other facilities are expected to open within six months of that date. The KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is scheduled there in 2023.

“The demand for hotels across North Texas continues to rise, and the PGA of America’s relocation is sure to spur additional growth,” said Brasfield & Gorrie’s Jason Weeks.
