General Contractor Hired for $800M, 115-Acre Northline MXU

The Leander City Council hired DeNucci Constructors as the leading general contractor for the Northline mixed-use development. Construction will begin in March 2019 on Northline, situated on 115 acres on U.S. 183 and San Gabriel Parkway. Buildout could take up to 15 years. The city is partnering with Northline Leander Development Co. in developing the project.

Upon completion, the $800 million development will hold 300,000 square feet of retail space, 700,000 square feet of office space, 150,000 square feet of hotel space, 2,000 apartment units and 300 townhome units. Also being planned are a town square, parks, playscapes and trails. Northline will be in a transit-oriented development area. Austin Community College-San Gabriel campus and St. David’s Emergency Center are also in the area.
