20 Gebo's Opens in Lubbock

Gebo’s 20th, and Largest Store to Open in Lubbock

They call it a farm and ranch retail company, but Gebo’s niche is hard to nail down. “We sell a little bit of everything, from toolboxes, guns, dog food, household good, decor, clothing, I mean, you name it, we pretty much got it, minus the food,” said the newest Gebo’s store manager, Christopher Ashby.

The 35,000 square foot store will be the companies largest. Once the store opens in September, It will be the second Lubbock store. Starting in 1959, Gebo’s can be found in New Mexico, but mostly in North Texas where it will soon have 18 stores. On it’s website, Gebo’s says “it’s no “cookie-cutter” big box store. Each store is as unique as the town it is in.” The company says it likes to cater to hobby farmers and hobby ranchers.
