GE Digital Takes Another 100K-SF at Bishop Ranch

GE Digital signed a 100,000-square-foot expansion lease at Sunset Development Co.’s 2600 Bishop Ranch. The software arm of GE, which has been at the 1.8-million-square-foot San Ramon, CA property since 2011, increased its total commitment to nearly 350,000-square feet.

The location, which serves as the global HQ of GE Digital, significantly adds capacity for new employees. Currently, 1,700 GE Digital employees work at Bishop Ranch, which includes four interconnected buildings on a park-like 100-acre campus.

CBRE’s Chris Adams, Kirk Beebe, Bill Dougherty and Brent Woodruff represented the tenant. Sunset was self represented.

GE Digital’s expansion follows on the heels of Rodan + Fields’ taking 150,000 square feet last month.

2600 Bishop Ranch is owned by Sunset, and its partner MetLife.
