GBT Signs Outback Steakhouse at Silver Spring Center

GBT Realty Corporation, a leading national commercial development and investment company headquartered in Brentwood, TN, has added Outback Steakhouse to Ellsworth Place, a 350,000-square-foot retail and entertainment center located in Silver Spring, MD. The national restaurant group signed a lease for approximately 7,000 square feet of restaurant and patio space.

“As the word gets out, we’re seeing a growing momentum in leasing activity at Ellsworth Place,” said Trey Culpepper, SVP, GBT Realty, which acquired the property in 2018. “DSW opened last year in a 17,000-square-foot space; the tenant line-up for our food hall Commas is taking shape; and we are expecting to announce more new tenants in the coming weeks.”

Along with restaurant and entertainment destinations, Ellsworth Place offers national discount retailers including Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Michaels and Five Below. Leasing at the property is handled by Baltimore-based Segall Group’s Jonathan Garritt and Andrew Segall.
