Gayle Blakeley Farris Joins Transwestern in Life Sciences & Healthcare Role

Transwestern Development Co. (TDC) expanded its leadership team with the addition of Gayle Blakeley Farris, who joins as Regional Partner, Life Sciences & Healthcare. Working with the TDC leadership team, Farris will lead the pursuit, conceptualization and execution of large-scale corporate and institutionally-anchored life sciences and mixed-use tech transfer campus developments in Houston and other national tech cluster cities.

Farris, who has relocated to Houston from Boston, is a nationally recognized urban, mixed-use life sciences campus developer. For 25 years, she was CEO of Forest City Science and Technology Group based in Cambridge, MA.

She’s completed dozens of university-related real estate developments valued at more than $3 billion. She has experience building more than 3.5 million square feet of state-of-the-art facilities for technology industry leaders, Ivy League universities, medical institutions and hospital research labs in the Cambridge, Baltimore, and Philadelphia markets, including MIT, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis is a communications leader with more than 40 years of experience including as a journalist and in corporate and agency marketing communications roles. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
