Gavin Farnam Named President of Madison Marquette’s Retail Services

Madison Marquette named Gavin Farnam President of its national Retail Services team. Farnam will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office. Heather Almond also joined the firm as Executive Vice President and will be based in Seattle. The pair will report to Madison Marquette’s Chief Asset Services Officer Drew Genova.

Farnam and Almond bring more than 37 years of combined real estate experience and are expected to enhance connectivity across service lines as the firm invests in expanding its integrated service offerings to meet clients’ diverse business goals.

Madison Marquette’s Drew Genova says, “The addition of Gavin and Heather optimizes our retail practice and allows us to deliver innovative and scalable real estate strategies to our national client base. Their leadership will create unique synergies between Madison Marquette’s full-service platform and Retail Solutions investment arm, enhancing our ability to capitalize on market opportunities.”

Farnam is a 17-year commercial real estate veteran who joins Madison Marquette from CBRE where he served as Managing Director and Retail Practice Leader for the firm’s retail property management business in the Americas.

Almond will lead property management and marketing strategy for Madison Marquette’s owned and third-party retail assets. She brings more than 20 years of experience and most recently served as Director of National Retail Marketing at CBRE.

Dennis Kaiser is Vice President of Public Relations and Communications for Connect Creative. Dennis has also worked on communications and launch strategies for a number of consumer electronic, media and tech brands including SlingMedia, Channel Master, Deluxe Media Entertainment, BeIn Sports, EchoStar and Sprint. Dennis’s agency background included firms such as Off Madison Ave., Idea Hall and Macy + Associates. He has earned an outstanding reputation with organization leaders as a trusted advisor, strategic program implementer, consensus builder and exceptional collaborator. Dennis has developed and managed national communications programs for Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, both public and private. He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
