Gather Group Will Open Food Hall on Eastern Edge of MIT Campus

Eastern Edge, a food hall destination featuring a curated mix of local food vendors, bar spaces and event venues, will open its doors in early 2026 in Kendall Square. Located at 290 Main St. on the eastern edge of MIT’s campus, Eastern Edge will debut a lineup of nine food and drink vendors.

The first five include Clover, Juicy Jay’s, Perillas, Everybody Gotta Eat and Viet Citron. Eastern Edge is developed, curated and led by the team at Gather Group, with a focus on bringing together vendors that reflect the cultural and culinary diversity of Cambridge and the Greater Boston area.

“Eastern Edge brings together the culinary excellence, creativity and authenticity that define Cambridge and Greater Boston,” said Hans van der Reijden, founder & CEO of Gather Group. “From design to the curation of our culinary lineup, our vision has been to craft a destination that supports local chefs while offering guests an exceptional and welcoming experience.”
