Garage Door Supplies Inks Sublease in Bedford Park

Darwin Realty/CORFAC International SVP Jeffrey Provenza and associate Rollo Dace recently represented Garage Door Supplies in its sublease of 30,000 square feet at 6558 W. 73rd St. in Bedford Park, IL. The manufacturer and distributor of garage doors and related parts sought a building with good access to highways in the Chicago area.

“This is an older building, but its prime location near I-55 made it ideal for this mid-size tenant,” said Provenza. “The I-55 submarket has very low vacancy and our diligence allowed us to find a great sublease space for the tenant to expand its business.”

The 35,000-square-foot building has 23’ clear height and five exterior dock doors. The short-term, 18-month sublease gives the new tenant flexibility to change locations in the near future.

Cushman and Wakefield’s William Strey represented the sublandlord, Jerich USA.
