Gallery Carts and OnCampus Brands Partner for Campus Food Delivery
Gallery Carts recently entered into a new partnership with OnCampus Brands. Together, the companies will provide more options with food service delivery and retail sales via electric vehicles on K-12, college and university campuses.
“One of the silver linings of the pandemic has been the accelerated adoption of practices that make our lives more convenient,” said Dan Gallery V, president, Gallery Carts. “In our industry, we are doing this by bringing electric vehicles to school campuses to enable food and retail operators to reach their customers.”
The partnership with OnCampus Brands continues Gallery’s significant expansion in the EV space in the last two years. Moreover, it provides Gallery’s food service and retail customers with a unique opportunity to expand on a variety of campuses.
The fully customizable light-duty vehicles are used in venues across the country from NFL stadiums to colleges and universities, conference centers, airports and malls. The vehicles easily traverse sidewalks, alleys, and narrow interior and exterior passages using a lithium-powered vendor box engineered by Texas-based AYRO Inc. on a Club Car 411 vehicle.
The zero-emissions vehicles require far less energy than full-sized gas-powered food trucks and do not require special charging infrastructure, only a standard 120-volt wall outlet.
