Fulton St. Cos. Secures $233M Loan for 11-Story Office Building
Chicago-based Fulton Street Companies (FSC) has secured financing for the company’s newest development at 919 West Fulton Street. Founder and CEO Alex Najem reached an agreement with SNK Capital, led by Shanna Khan, to serve as the lead equity investment partner on the project.
Financing will be provided by Bank OZK and Manulife, with development services provided by FSC and JDL Development. Madison Rose’s Matt Pistorio is handling leasing, and Colliers has been selected for the management assignment. Harrison Street Real Estate Capital will be the anchor tenant with a 70,000-square-foot headquarters space.
Located at the corner of Fulton Market and Sangamon Streets, the 11-story, 360,000-square-foot building will feature an array of amenities and 40,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. “This is not the most hospitable environment to get deals done, but we are thrilled to partner with Shanna and SNK Capital, Bank of the Ozarks and Manulife to launch this one-of-a-kind project in Chicago’s hottest neighborhood,” said Najem.
