Full Service EV Charging Hubs Could Become The Newest CRE Trend
Los Angeles-based The Stack Charge, a unique EV fast-charging station, has just announced its first acquisition, a 1.3-acre land parcel in Baker, CA. The site, located about halfway between Las Vegas and San Bernardino on Interstate 15, will soon become a full-service, fast-charge experience.
“With the significant demand for electric cars, we see an incredible opportunity to reinvent the charging experience,” said Lawrence Fung, co-founder of The Stack Charge. “We are aiming to redefine electric car charging by turning stations into modern hubs with experience-driven amenities.”
The Stack Charge in Baker will offer 40 DC fast-charging stations, which can recharge electric vehicles in 15-30 minutes, providing upwards of 200 miles range. The hub, which is scheduled to be completed in early 2023, will include elevated QSR’s, outdoor lounge areas, 24/7 restroom facilities and Wifi. The company is seeking to build 10 locations in Southern California over the next year.
