Full-Building Airport Corporate Center Lease Signed in Detroit

Opus announced that KSI Auto Parts has signed a lease for the entire 100,456 square feet of Building A in its two-building Airport Corporate Center industrial development at 33200 Smith Road in Romulus, Michigan.

“KSI has a small shipping center in the Detroit area, but this will be their first full inventory distribution center here, which will allow them to deliver faster service to their customers throughout Michigan,” said Mike Robinson, vice president of real estate development with Opus.

Building B at Airport Corporate Center remains available for lease and is being marketed by Sean Cavanaugh and Dave MacDonald of JLL. Opus was the developer, design-builder, architect and structural engineer of record on the project.

Airport Corporate Center is located just one mile from Interstate 94, three miles from Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport and 20 miles from downtown Detroit. The development itself sits on 22.7 acres with access to restaurants, hotels, gas stations and a range of logistics and corporate facilities.
