Frisco’s $2.5 Billion ‘Railhead’ Project Starts Construction
The 80-acre project off of Dallas North Tollway broke ground last week. It will include office buildings, retail, restaurants, hotels and apartments. The Railhead is being developed by Heady Investments and landowner Jim Newman.
Besides the ambitious building plan, the project will place a premium on open space. 24% of the 80 acres will be set aside for green space, including a nearly 5-acre park at the rear of the development.
The first-phase will include a 450-unit apartment complex built by JPI. Future plans call for five high-rise office buildings and 1,280 additional apartment units..
