Frisco OK’s Mixed-Use Project in Rail District

The Frisco City Council approved a development that will bring mixed-use multifamily/commercial buildings to the city’s downtown Rail District.

Winstead PC is planning the development of Ash Residences at the northwest and northeast corners of 3rd Street and Ash Street.

The project comprises two three-story mixed-use residential/commercial buildings for a total of 72,896 square feet. The buildings in total will have 63 units, with 37 one-bedroom units and 26 two-bedroom units. One of the buildings includes a 1,097-square-foot artisan gallery space.

The city of Frisco’s efforts downtown include the recent rehabilitation of Elm Street. Construction on both Main Street and the 4th Street Plaza is slated to begin in April 2024 and end in April 2026, while construction on a downtown parking garage is slated to begin in August 2024 and to end in July 2025. The city of Frisco will be investing over the next five years well over $100 million into the Rail District.
