Friedman Sells 46K-SF Former Chase Bank Regional HQ

Friedman Real Estate’s Steven Silverman and Ryan Wilner recently completed the sale of a 46,000-square-foot vacant mixed-use investment property located at 630 E Main Street in downtown Richmond, Indiana.

Friedman Real Estate advised the buyer and the seller in the transaction. Chase was the property’s anchor tenant before it closed the downtown branch as part of plans to consolidate operations.

The downtown area’s Chase Bank and drive-through locations closed permanently in 2018. The six-story building, constructed in 1924, is one of the tallest in the downtown Richmond area. An addition was completed on the property’s west side in 1973.
