Friedman Group Sells Huntington Plaza, Parking Garage in Canton

Friedman Real Estate, a Detroit, Michigan-based provider of commercial real estate services, recently closed the sale of Huntington Plaza, a more than 132,000-square-foot office building and 450-vehicle covered parking deck in downtown Canton, Ohio. S

Steven Silverman, Ryan Wilner, and Andrew Ledger advised the seller in the transaction. Located at 220 Market Ave S, the 12-floor building is named after Huntington Bank, which has a branch and offices within the property.

It’s one of the tallest buildings in downtown Canton, and the 36-year-old structure is attached to the parking deck by attached by a walkway over the 200 block of Market Avenue S. The property was foreclosed on in 2022 and had been listed for sale via auction twice after the initial auction didn’t produce a buyer.
