Friedman Awarded Management of Detroit MF Portfolio

Friedman Communities, a Midwest company specializing in multi-family real estate, has been selected to manage a vast multi-site portfolio in Detroit, Michigan. The portfolio comprises over 1,500 apartment units located in various neighborhoods such as Midtown, Southwest Detroit, and the East Jefferson corridor, including the Villages.

The portfolio includes several historic buildings and properties built in the 1920s, with an emphasis on areas with convenient transit and quality housing for all income levels.  Friedman completes building restorations to preserve the history and architecture Detroit is known for. The firm aims to build additional value for each asset and its respective communities through high-touch, professional property management.

“The quality renovations coupled with fantastic price points will be well-received in the market, and we’re looking forward to providing additional value through our professional management services, resident engagement, and lease-up efforts,” said Tracy Brown, senior managing director of multi-family services at Friedman.
