Fredericksburg Site for Luxury Resort, Mixed-Use Development

The town between Austin and San Antonio will be the site of a 240-acre master planned community. Fredericksburg Development is building a resort as well as well as a mixed-use development in the Texas Hill and Wine Country to be called the Village of Frieden.

The Artisan will be a destination four-star luxury resort. The hotel will feature 108 luxury suites, along with a 12,000 square foot Wellness Center and over 30,000 square feet of event areas. There will be a wine and food center, a lagoon pool with a lazy river and swim up bar. The resort will include 40 private cottages.

With groundbreaking expected by the end of 2023, the 300+ units at the Verandas will enjoy a large outdoor venue with a pool, gardens, pickle ball courts, green spaces, and luxury lounge areas all focused on a central pond with trails connected to the broader Village. Additionally, the Village will include restaurants, retail shops and a number of parks and trail systems.
