Frank Lloyd Wright’s Last Residential Project on the Market
In 1959, renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright passed away. Before he did so, he left behind numerous architectural wonders that solidified his legacy, including 14 circular residences. One of the houses that he designed, located in the Lykes in Phoenix, is back on the market for $3.25M.
Designed for a couple who lived in the home for decades, the home spans 2,900-square-feet, has 3 bedrooms and was completed in 1967. With large windows wrapping the living room and offerings views of Palm Canyon, the home still includes the furniture from the 1960s.
Like many of Mr. Wright’s designs, the circular aesthetic adorns both the interior and exterior of the house. As noted, the house was completed posthumously, and his apprentice John Rattenbury helped complete the design and oversee construction.
