GAF Renews and Expands Lease at Wonderful Industrial Park

Fortune 500 Company Signs Major San Joaquin Valley Lease

Wonderful Real Estate Development has announced the lease of its most recent one million-square-foot speculative building in Shafter, CA to a prominent Fortune 500 American food manufacturer. The food company intends to use the facility as a distribution center, creating 150 jobs.

“With over 10 million square feet of occupied space in Wonderful Industrial Park (WIP) by some of the best know brands in America, our park has become the premier logistics and distribution business park in the Western U.S.,” said Joe Vargas, President of Wonderful Real Estate Development.

Shafter is located about 15 miles northwest of Bakersfield in the San Joaquin Valley. The one million-square-foot building at WIP features 40 feet of clear height, 215 dock-high doors and parking expandable to 1,000 stalls to accommodate trailers and employee spaces. Other WIP tenants include Staples, American Tire Distributors and Formica.
