Fort Capital Buy 711,399 Square feet of Houston Industrial assets, wants more

Fort Capital Picks Up 23 Houston Industrial Buildings…Wants More

Fort Capital has acquired a 711,399 square-foot industrial portfolio in Houston, making up 23 buildings. It’s the largest acquisition made by Fort Capital to date. The company has put out the word that they are interested in buying more. Their website says, “Fort Capital is aggressively seeking opportunities to acquire Class B industrial and office assets between $15M and $100M throughout major cities within Texas… it is our goal to find exceptional, risk-adjusted assets in high-growth markets with a focus on core plus and value-add opportunities.”

The company has reported that it plans to add another 725,000 square feet to its Houston industrial portfolio by the end of the year, bringing its overall total to 6 million square feet. Since 2020, the company acquired 3 million square feet in the Houston Market.

The buildings within the portfolio of their latest block purchase is 75% leased to a diverse group of tenants.
