Formula 1 Racing Simulator to Open in the Seaport

A Formula 1 racing simulator arcade, F1 Arcade, is set to debut in Boston’s Seaport district next month, Boston Business Journal reported. Located at 87 Pier 4 Blvd., near Puttshack and the upcoming Museum of Ice Cream, the venue will occupy 15,500 square feet across two floors. It will feature 69 racing simulators inspired by iconic tracks, along with a 37-foot-long bar and a private room and bar spanning 2,400 square feet, capable of hosting up to 200 guests.

This marks F1 Arcade’s first U.S. location, with plans for expansion to other cities including Washington, D.C. The trend of experience-driven venues has gained traction amid retail struggles, particularly in areas like the Seaport that rely on office workers. Recent additions include Yume Ga Arukara, Heyday, Rhone, and Staud, with Union Square Hospitality Group also slated to open two restaurants nearby next year.
