Former Triad Wells Fargo Ops Center to Become Life Sciences Space

Innovation Quarter in Winston-Salem acquired The Linden Center, a 190,000-square-foot building at 401 N. Research Parkway. The Triad Business Journal reports the three-story building on a 2.4-acre site was previously an operations center for Wells Fargo. The building will be repurposed as a flexible laboratory and biomanufacturing space. The redevelopment will be focused on supporting startups and scaling life sciences and regenerative medicine companies.

Innovation Quarter has transformed historic factories into labs, created greenways and gathering spaces and anchored a mixed-use district of more than 2.1 million square feet since 2002. The district generates approximately $2 billion in annual economic impact in the region.

Wake Forest University Health Sciences, which is associated with AtriumHealth Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, purchased the building. Atrium purchased the property from the law firm Kurkin Forehand Brandes’ office in Florida.
