Former Round Rock Cypress Plant Converting to Warehouses

Provident Realty Advisors plans to turn the former Cypress Semiconductor Corp. building in Round Rock into an industrial park.

The Austin Business Journal reports the company plans to start construction in April on what it’s calling “Round Rock Eagles Nest Industrial.” The $23 million project is expected to wrap up in May 2026. The plans call for three light industrial, office or warehouse buildings totaling 292,995 square feet.

The Cypress campus was shuttered in 2008. It had been open for 20 years and had 200 workers at the time.

Provident, which was founded in 1991, has developed more than $5.5 billion worth of projects across five states, primarily in Texas. That includes two multifamily projects and a retail office tower in the Austin area.
