Morris & Fellows Ventures has been selected by the town of Roswell to lead the redevelopment of Roswell Town Center, a 47-acre shopping center at the intersection of Alpharetta Highway and Holcomb Bridge Road. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the company will work with city officials and the property owner over several years to revitalize the site. Morris & Fellows has helped transform downtowns in Alpharetta and Woodstock.

The project could include a mix of commercial, residential, office, educational and civic spaces,.

Roswell Town Center, originally known as Roswell Mall, opened as a two-level enclosed shopping mall in the 1970s. The property was turned into an open-air shopping center in the 1990s.

The semi-vacant retail center is leased by a handful of stores such as Dollar Tree, Floor & Decor and Shoe Gallery.

Roswell officials recently approved plans from The Atlantic Cos. to place apartments and commercial space at the city’s former police headquarters.
