Former Port Leasing Manager Joins KW Commercial San Antonio

Will Curtis served as the leasing manager for Port of San Antonio for the past three years. But with 2020 being a year of transition, an unexpected turn of events resulted in a new chapter for Curtis.

The loss of KW Commercial’s managing director Jim McClung in the summer of 2020 led the firm to re-evaluate its commercial operations, including training and technology. While Keller Williams Realty is well-known for its training and technology on the residential side, the commercial part of the equation, KW Commercial San Antonio, was in need of a full-time director of commercial education, a new role for the firm.

Enter Will Curtis. His name came to mind because Curtis was already teaching TREC classes.

He was asked to teach a few classes last fall for KW agents as a test run. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and Curtis was hired.

His role will include compiling a training schedule, creating/writing the courses, teaching courses, mentoring agents new to commercial real estate and with deals, and traveling to other KW offices in the region.
