Shopoff buys 280-acre parcel for industrial warehouses

Former Mesa Dairy Farm May Become Phoenix Area’s Largest Industrial Site

Shopoff Realty Investments has acquired the onetime dairy farm, making up 269.9 acres of land located at E. Elliott and S. Sossaman Road just outside Mesa, Arizona. The property is the largest development-ready industrial lot in the Southeast Valley. The lot was purchased through an $81 million first mortgage provided through Mavik Capital Management.

Although it is still in the planning stage, the property may end up housing 12 to 15 buildings, with some 4.1 million square feet of leasable space. Estimated building sizes are set to around 500,000 square feet.

William Shopoff says the work is just beginning, “We plan to work closely with the city to annex the property into the City of Mesa, and subsequently entitle the property for manufacturing use, in order to meet market demands.”

SVN | Desert Commercial Advisors team represented Shopoff in the acquisition, led by Dylan Sproul and Paul Borgesen.
