Former Dallas Fry’s Now Co-Warehousing Facility
The former 174,500-square-foot Fry’s Electronics building at the corner of U.S. 75 and President George Bush Turnpike is now a co-warehousing facility that can accommodate more than 160 companies.
The Dallas Business Journal reports WareSpace Plano offers private warehouse suites ranging from 200 to 2,000 square feet, along with conference rooms, shared kitchens, lounge areas and flexible short-term leases.
Designed for businesses that have outgrown the garage but don’t need a traditional industrial lease, the facility gives entrepreneurs warehouse space, office space and shared amenities under one roof. The former Fry’s closed in 2021.
“Most of our tenants outgrew a garage or self-storage unit, and a full industrial lease was too much building, too much commitment, and too much risk,” WareSpace CEO Levi Cohen said in a statement.
The new WareSpace at 700 E. Plano Pkwy. will be the company’s fourth location in DFW, following facilities in Addison, Fort Worth and North Richland Hills.
